The past couple days have been super in terms of weather. MoNa's sister is in a decidedly happy mood these days, and in addition to sun, it's been in the mid-50s too! I've even heard it's supposed to get up into the 60s today, but I'm just happy with warm, sunny weather.
I've had a good couple days. Monday I had dinner with Amie at Thai Ginger (see below for my choice of entree, it was not pad thai :) ) Then after literally just missing the bus, the driver saw me 2 feet from the stop and didn't stop, I walked up to the MAX station and took that downtown instead. It brought back memories of riding the tram in Grenoble. I got off the MAX just in time to see my bus home driving away. So instead of waiting 15 minutes at that stop, I walked almost a mile and waited for only 5 minutes at another stop.
Tuesday night Caitlin invited me over to Jeff's for dinner. He tried to make something in the crock pot, but after 4 hours on high the potatoes were still not done. So he stuck it on the stove and Caitlin made the salad I brought and we ate that while we waited for the potatoes to get soft. We at the stew, which I can only describe as spicy amazingness, while we watched American Gangster, which is a LONG movie. I also got to meet Caitlin's cat, Mila, finally. She's an adorably cute, yet stupid, cat :)
I also found out yesterday that I got a 97% on my business paper. Boo-yah! Oh, coincidentally, that is the informal name of our group. Team booyah. Yeah, I'm working with geniuses. Also, no business class tomorrow, which means my only class starts at 2:30. hehehe, AWESOME!
OK, list time:
-Had the number 43 at Thai Ginger. It was a stir fry dish with chicken, tomatoes, peppers, onions, pineapple, cucumber, and maybe some other things. Don't remember the actual name of i, but it was tasty.
-Rode the MAX Yellow Line downtown. Have used the MAX before, just not the Yellow Line.
-Wore a skirt to school, new for this year. Yay sun!
-Met Mila, FINALLY.
-Saw American Gangster, good, but I'm glad I didn't spend money to see it.

MM: It was sunny and warm here today :) I just read your blog, and it sounds like a good idea to try new stuff. Where did you go to wine taste? Have you ever gone over to the WA side to Carson? When I was a kid, my sister and I spent our summers there. I hear they have winerys there now. I'll keep reading. Jeannie
