Making habits

I've heard it takes 3 months to make a habit and only 3 days to break it. So, because I want this to last at least until Easter, I'm putting up a post today, even though I don't have much to say.

This weekend was pretty low key, which was really nice. Friday night Amie and I had some Peep wars (there are pictures, once I get them from her, I'll post 'em). Basically, I bought a box of traditional yellow Peeps and a box of pink ones for 50 cents each, and then we put one of each color into the microwave and watched them explode 'til they smoked. I don't recommend doing this unless your microwave is in a room with windows as it smells pretty rank, especially after three rounds of this. After 6 Peeps had been sufficiently misshapen by the microwave, we took the other 4 outside to have more fun with them and some matchbooks we had. However, after we had gone through two and a half books, and just the sugar coating of one of the pink ones was melted, we decided to douse the unlucky, but not dead, Peep and the matches we had used in water. I'd say about a quarter of the poor Peep suffered from 2nd degree burns - maybe. I think scientists should start looking into how to make human skin from Peeps, there'd probably be a lot less burn victims that way. Maybe. There would definitely be a lot less cannibals because Peeps are nasty and having Peep skin would make us untasty to those who like the taste of flesh. Yes, scientists should start on that right away...forget the cure for cancer :)

Anyways, there are 3 Peeps left, awaiting execution one way or another - any suggestions? The rest of the weekend was far less productive: I got supplies for lunches this week, cleaned my room, studied for my business test, vacuumed, did most of my French homework (I always save a bit because doing all of it would give me nothing to do between my two TR classes), ran a mile at Duniway, bought GS cookies, watched TV, washed all my laundry (THREE LOADS!!!)...you get the idea.

Nothing really new to add to the list, though it was the first time I bought GS cookies from someone who wasn't me or Erin, so I guess that counts. Yeah, I've decided it does. See you all Wednesday.
